Focusing on characterisation, you’ll learn how to shape a character and make it believable.

You’ll learn how to use your voice and body language to connect with and lead the audience response and leave a lasting impression.

Kalyani Nagarajan

Kalyani is a graduate of Toi Whakaari New Zealand Drama School. She has been working professionally as an actress in the industry since graduation, working with theatre and television for companies such as Auckland Theatre Company, Indian Ink, CDP productions and South Pacific Pictures. Kalyani has recently come off the international tour of her show Mrs Krishnan's Party, during which she was a guest lecturer for performance and acting at several universities in America including The University of Utah, University of Seattle, Virginia Tech, The University of Richmond and many more. She has taught her own curriculum for adults and children and has worked with Shine for three years. She is passionate about sharing her skills and her experience with her students.
