This is a fun and challenging physical course that focuses on the techniques used by circus performers on the ground and in the air.

TAPAC class

Circus classes are a fun and healthy way for kids of all ages to get super active, stay fit and make loads of new friends.  Physical benefits of kids circus classes include improved hand-eye coordination, flexibility and strength. 

Through physical warm-ups, acrobatics, tumbling and object manipulation, you will develop your motor skills, strength, flexibility and endurance, whilst having a great time.  Kids will also develop essential life-skills including self-confidence, teamwork and trust. We look forward to seeing your kids cartwheeling and juggling in our amazing space soon!  This class is suited to a student with previous Circus experience.

Thomas Hinz

Circability’s lead teacher Thomas Hinz has extensive experience teaching circus in New Zealand and Germany. He studied Rehabilitative Pedagogy in Berlin and founded and managed Circus Fantasia in Rostock, Germany. Thomas takes students on a journey through juggling, diabolo, spinning plates, tightwire, unicycle, globe and acrobatic postures. He is a master at working with all ages and abilities and is passionate about helping students find the best way of presenting their favourite skills.

Jesse Miller

Jesse launched his circus career at TAPAC and has trained and taught across the world, including Australia, the USA and at the Beijing International Arts School.  A former member of Kelly Brother’s travelling circus, Jesse specialises in all forms of trapeze (single, double, triple and flying) with a broader skill range across most aerial arts and ground-based partner acrobatics.
