Enjoy the exhilaration that comes from dancing through space with ease and confidence!

Tutors bring their own personal movement vocabularies and choreographic styles, whilst teaching well-respected internationally-influenced techniques with a special New Zealand flavour.

Floor work, exercises and combinations are built on each week, enabling students to explore their own movement style and creativity.

Rose Philpott

Rose Philpott

Rose Philpott has been working as a freelance dancer, choreographer and teacher for the past five years. Rose has a Bachelor of Performing and Screen Arts from Unitec (majoring in contemporary dance) and won the Eileen May Norris Dance Scholarship. She is a founding member of the Foster Group and has performed for Footnote NZ Dance, the World of Wearable Art and Okareka Dance Company, among other companies. She brings an in-depth knowledge of dance techniques and performance along with imagination and a sense of play to her classes.

Presley Ziogas TAPAC

Presley Ziogas

Presley graduated with a BPSA in Contemporary Dance from Unitec in 2018. Prior to her contemporary training, Presley represented New Zealand at the Hip Hop International World Championships with The Company NZ in 2013, and continues to bring her hip hop expertise into her contemporary work. Presley was selected to partake in the development of Louise Potiki Bryant's original work Onepu with Atamira Dance Company in early 2018, and performed in a lead role in their season of Kotahi which opened the 2018 Tempo Dance Festival. Presley was invited to understudy Sarah Foster Sproull's 2017 development and premiere season of Orchids, and has been employed in the same capacity for their current national tour. Presley is currently touring with Atamira Dance Company as a dancer for Louise Potiki-Bryant’s original work Onepu. Presley's own choreographic work has been exhibited in various platforms such as Short + Sweet Dance Festival NZ (2018). Presley is a guest tutor at the Auckland Performing Arts Centre in contemporary and ballet technique.
