TAPAC welcomes a diverse range of community groups, who hold classes, workshops, development seasons and rehearsals in our studios and theatre. Some of the groups who use our facilities include Mixit (a multicultural platform for young people from refugee, migrant and local backgrounds), Starjam (who run dance classes for young people with disabilities), Babel Theatre (a collective that uses cultural diversity as a creative tool), Phoenix Belly Dance (who run community classes), Prayas Theatre (NZ's largest South Asian theatre and cultural group), and Touch Compass (NZ's leading professional inclusive performance company), among many more.
We also work in the wider community, offering workshops and performing outreach programmes to schools around Auckland.
