Get ready to squish, shape, sculpt, and create! In this hands-on ceramics course, young artists aged 8–15 will discover the exciting world of clay while learning the basics of ceramic design, decoration, and glazing.
Students will transform a plain bisque-fired plate into a masterpiece as they explore decorating techniques, waxing, and glazing. They'll also unleash their creativity by designing and building their own unique clay creation from scratch using slab building, moulds, or sculpture techniques.
By the end of the course, each student will have at least two ceramic artworks to be proudly taken home after firing. No experience is needed, just imagination and enthusiasm.
