Choreographed by Candice Frankland, All That Glitters... is about exploring the meaning of this well known saying both literally and metaphorically and it’s contrasting meaning coined by JRR Tolkien “All that is gold does not glitter" through the dances and music of the Middle East.
The dancers have been tasked with representing the folkloric rhythms and styles in new and modern interpretations as we traverse through the depths and mesmerising art of Oriental dance.
