See a great line-up of some of Aotearoa’s top comedians perform a free stand up show, followed by a workshop where you’ll get to learn the tricks of the comedic trade!
The team behind the NZ International Comedy Fest present a return of the popular Withers Tsang Class Comedians programme. This popular event is aimed at high school students (but whānau are welcome too!) This year the programme is moving out into the community so more people more people can take part, best of all it's still free!
Hosted by the award-winning Brendon Green and featuring some of the funniest Kiwis around, settle in for a great gig and then get all the inside tips from comedians Kura Forrester(The Adventures of Suzy Boon, Snort), David Correos (Billy T Award winner) and Ruby Esther (winner of 2017 Raw & 2018 Best Debut at the Comedy Fest).
Following the comedy workshops, a small number of students will be selected to carry on with the full Class Comedians programme (which is also free), which includes weekend and school holiday workshops, followed by a final performance in Q Theatre as part of the 2019 NZ International Comedy Festival - check that show out here!
