Tainted Nightmare: The Christmas Season challenges five drag artists to create two numbers each that embody the themes of Christmas and Horror for your entertainment!
The night includes a pre-show photo opportunity with the queens (7pm); a fabulously spooky night of performances (8pm); plus a spot prize that includes a $50 BodyFX Voucher for whoever is dressed best to the Christmas/Horror theme!

I’ve been a performer from a young age, and I’ve worked locally as an actor and more recently as a drag artist. I began investing in drag in 2016, and quickly learned how great the creative freedom that drag allows me to have is. I stand behind the art of drag and believe that it both deserves and thrives in the environment that a theatre offers. When I started performing in drag it was fully with the mindset that I would be creating my own theatrical drag shows.
Auckland has fabulous drag talent, but there’s no current platform with roots in horror and the alternative for drag artists. Tainted Nightmare will be that platform.
