PRAYAS THEATRE CELEBRATE 20 YEARS OF SOUTH ASIAN STORYTELLING
To celebrate 20 years, Prayas Theatre presents Pitara – a series of bite-sized scenes pulled from six standout plays.
Join Prayas in marking this special, limited-season event from 5 – 7 November at TAPAC.
In a fitting return, this celebration will be held at TAPAC, one of the first venues to invite the company to present, grow and become the beloved theatre company it is today.
A Pitara is an old attic trunk filled with mismatched knick-knacks, transporting you to long-forgotten memories.
The excerpts will include:
Charandas Chor – The Honest Thief, directed by Margaret Mary;
Kingdom of Cards and Dara, directed by Amit Ohdedar;
Rudali, directed by Ahi Karunaharan;
Swabhoomi, directed by Sananda Chatterjee;
Love N’ Stuff, directed by Sananda Chatterjee.
Art Direction by Ankita Singh.Produced by Rishabh Kapoor.
Join the Prayas Pitara as they celebrate theatre, culture and community.
