Tim Bray Theatre Company's youth theatre classes offer a fun and varied programme where students can develop their creativity, performance techniques and confidence.

The creative talents of students are nurtured in order for them to grow as actors and as communicators.

Led by tutors from Tim Bray Theatre Company, this programme also invites guest teachers from the theatre industry to introduce specific skills to students.

Founder Tim Bray  is the best-selling playwright for children in New Zealand and has been awarded a Queen’s Service Medal for services to children and theatre.

Originally from the UK, Rachel trained at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London. She has over a decade’s experience as a stage actress and has spent many years touring UK theatres and schools, teaching acting and movement skills as well as producing and directing children’s stage productions.

Dee started her acting career with Auckland Youth Theatre and has since had vast experience as an actress/singer/dancer/director/teacher/choreographer working in theatre, film, radio, T.V.  internationally.  She has a Bachelor of Education, with particular focus on Drama and Twice Exceptional students.  She has a Dance Diploma and a Certificate in Dance Movement Therapy from London.  “Dancing Dee” was a children's entertainer and creative dance/drama teacher for many years and Creative Director for a dance programme in schools, teaching dance using sports moves.  Dee loves the creative process of turning students ideas into story and script and onto performance.
